Nigerian music, in form of afrobeat or hip-hop, has been on the steady rise since the 2010s when music by artists like D’Banj and P Square became popular with not just Africans but other people from across the globe. The achievements of these artists have since been built upon by musicians like WizKid, Davido, and Burna Boy who all have a claim to being the biggest artist from Africa.
